03 ST with ZD30 Di - 142k 0n the clock, 32.5" Coopers, every thing else is standard - no roofrack and no load.
Ok, so I filled main tank today, needle was just above quater - took 71.8l after 722km. So that makes it 9.9l/100!!
300km was around town, 200km highway and 200km hill country of Mt Mee and Blackall Range.
This was done just after an oil change and all the filters and the Maf sensor clean.

I'm happy with that!!! A good benchmark to see what happens as things get added!!

its a 89 n/a deisel. with 415000kms on it. has 33s 6"lift bullbar winch custom rearbar. and apparently fuel pump has been turned up by previous owner. wether thats true or not unsure
I got an 88 NA diesel with 33" muds and 4" lift, front steel winch bar and 410 000ks so we are pretty similar. I drove from brisbane to cairns and while i can't remember exactly the figures out of the 120 litre tank i can get 800k's with a bit left over. It equaled 12litres per 100 and seems pretty consistent at that figure. I think the pump is stock. I am about to fit a turbo so it will be interesting to see if the engine handles it and what the fuel consumption does.
If you going through hell...Keep going

90 model wagon , td 42 with dts turbo and front mount cooler 3inch pipe with muffler 15 psi driven sensibly 10.5 per 100 around the burbs up shifts at 2000-2200 (stays with traffic like this no probs ) , driven spirited 12-13 per 100- thats upshifts at 2600-3000 which nearly sucks cars thru the snorkle. These are tested real world figures on 31 inch tyres and no weight in the car expept my 75 kg . if i put the missus in it goes up a bit . Towing 1200-1300 kg from mudgee to sydney which is a hilly run 13.5 litres per 100 k`s , Very happy with it .

Will need to do a few more tanks yet to confirm but it looks like I have dropped in usage a bit since the new pipes have been put on, somewhere around 19-20L/100 I am guessing

02 3ltr Turbo, auto wagon. In April, I bought this wagon, and done a few 'approved mods'. The best money spent was a dyno-tune (Websters @ Wodonga), and clean-up of intercooler (flushed).
Car runs much better, more power & improved fuel economy.
Went over Thredbo & back last week. Am pulling almost 700 klms out of the main tank! Some quick calcs, it's doing just over 11 ltrs/100 klm. Very happy

Hi Forum members we need to help Weetbix with his truck, his fuel figures are woeful. I've asked him to post a new thread so we can all help. 200k per tank is just not on.
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

I just drove from Sydney - Adelaide - Perth in my 4.8ltr petrol, "06" Its had a cruise control accessory put in which was extremely comfortable however i found it ate more fuel whilst on cruise control. I was chugging through a 90 ltr tank every 400-500kms. I haven't done the sums yet but i will post them soon. Can anyone tell me at what point does the red light indicator come on the fuel guage? When there's 50ltrs or 50 kms left, something like this?? Its the Y61 wagon.

    Before engine (RD 28T) rebuild:

    City - 16-18 litters
    Highway (80-95 km/h) - 14-16
    Highway (100-120 km/h) - 20-25

Most economy regime in my shorty in range 1900-2000 rpm. (before turbo work 2200 rpm)

    Vehicle without any modifications.
