No boss - going to leave the XR6 one on there and if an issue when I get the electronic boost controller, I'll be going water/meth injection to cool things down - cheaper and easier alternative to swapping out the intercooler after all that effort (and truth be told, I'm not convinced it's having the issue truth be told - they rate them to 260kw and behind a large 6 engine, and I'm nowhere near that currently, so thinking it's more the "setup" than the intercooler itself ...)

You should know me by now mate!!! lol - there'll be plenty - gone thicker OD tube also now so it should beef it up a bit too (centre hoop and main front cross bar is now 60mm - currently both 45mm; and the rest is 45mm - currently 40mm).

After seeing this beast in the flesh i can attest to what a weapon it is and that any thing scotty does to it will only make better.
Watch out there's a Poo "Yota" lurking in the shadows !

Sincere thanks mate - coming from someone who 'used' to own an awesome rig, I take that as a real compliment!! lol

Outside of electronic boost controller, I sorta think the build is coming to an end ... lots of cosmetic stuff to do, but I've hit a threshold on serious mods and am pretty happy with where it's at ...

By the way, returned an 18.11 litres per hundred for the first full tank!!! That included some 100+ klms of low tyre pressure and sand driving, some highway driving, but the rest around town!!! Very pleased ...

That intercooler you have, are the ends where hose clamp to/over it rather thick?.
I found on my car that this caused alot of turbulence may-be back pressure on inlet port.
I cut a car wash sponge making a round plug and pushed a little way into in/out ports of cooler, coated this with spray grease to seal this over and ported them out, " tapering " in/out ends of cooler .
keeping tilted down carefully used long-nose pliers removed 1 sponge and cleaned up, made a through job to ensure nothing left behind to fall inside, and then cleaned the other the same .

this made a notable increase to torque.

The inlet and outlet are 60mm - think the tube itself is 2.5-3mm making an inner diameter of 54mm. I'm producing a heap of torque at 7.5lbs of boost, but more than happy to try this down the track once the electronic boost controller goes on and I know what I'm dealing with (should be thumping out around 650-700nm at the rear wheels!!) - appreciate the info mate!!

One more sleep till front bar and winch go on ... was supposed to be today, but either way, very excited!!

    I'm a simple creature!! lol

Well, here tis ... new bar and winch - 240's mounted on top of centre hoop and a tight squeeze all round!!! Winch isn't connected as yet coz I need a custom bracket - will do that next week. Gotta fix up the number plate mount, but on there at least to keep the boys in blue happy ... that said, me likey!!!!
