That said, a 'disconcerting' knock from the engine when I started this morning ... runs fine and no further noises, so hopefully just letting me know it wasn't appreciative of the couple of bonnet deep water crossings on the weekend!!

Where did you find bonnet deep water, Bigrig? I'd have to do something about Silver's air intake and breathers before having a go at that depth :-)

Last time we were at Bribie, 04OFF was saying that he missed the second lagoon crossing running as it did last year. You know the one - he took some spectacular pics of people who were dicing with the tide.

The second and third lagoons mate at high tide ... bloody deep and moving at a rate of knots - not for the feint hearted and not done without appropriate review and risk assessment.
