Hi,
Iam interested in fitting 33's on my GU patrol. which is stock atm. will it scrub anywhere or any other issues i might face??

You may scrub the fronts on full lock but I'm not quite sure. One of the GU gurus will be able to tell ya

You shouldn't have any problems wither 33's. What diameter rims are you running now? Some models won't take 15s as they wont fit over the brake caliber and rotor
That's quite an offset on those rims for sure
its 16's now.....iam not sure if 15's will have any issue. will try to borrow someones 15's to try it on my GU.
Just be careful with big offsets also - changes both Ackerman angle and scrub radius. Ackerman will potentially cause wobbles at speed, and scrub radius will (definitely) excessively wear the leading edge (inside and out depending on which way your turning) of the tyre.

I'm running 33/12.5/15 Hankook Dynapro M/T's on a series 1 standard suspension height, at R/H full lock with the tyre tucked up into the guard the tyre does rub a bit.
From memory the rims are a -23 offset what people seem to refer as a Landcruiser offset, the edge of the tyre sits outside the flare a bit too.
I think 15x10 would be a bit of overkill for 12.5 tyres, the tyres bulge out nicely when aired down i ran this set up on an old 60 series cruiser on plenty of offroad trips rock, mud sand etc and never had a problem. I had the same size M/T claws before these tyres and they were more like an 11.5 wide tyre.
The 15x8 with that offset is a very common rim over here and they are cheap $55 each.

yes please pics would be nice. thanks for the response guys....what size is equivlent to 33 x 12.5 ?? i mean 285/75/R16 wil be of same size??
285/75/16 would be about 33/11.5/16
Not the best time to take these kind of pics raining and loaded up with a few hundred KG of tools but you get the general idea... I also noticed both axles are sitting off to the left side so there is a bit more meat hanging out that side. That would be why i'm getting rubbing on the right hand side and not the left...
