I'll guess Trephina Gorge?
As I recall, after the memorial there's Trephina Gorge on the left, then Ross River Homestead at the end of the bitumen, followed by N'dalia Gorge.
If I'm correct, have another go. I'll be back Monday evening.

It's on the way into N'dhala Gorge.
The geology around Alice is awesome if you like that sort of thing.
We spent weeks in both the East and West Macdonald ranges going to every gorge and points of interest.

Was the old gold mining town of Ultunga open to tourists when you were there?
The access road is at the end of the bitumen is just past the N'dhala Gorge road.

Just for you TD.
Memorial to Terry Gill, aka 'Fish'. Hit a camel on his Harley. Burnout pad next to the memorial. Not sure when the memorial was installed. It was there when I rode up there on my Triumph in 2000.
(Speaking of which, if anyone wants to read my account of a motorcycle ride to Darwin via the centre & back to Victoria via Qld, NSW, & ACT with my son riding pillion - look here (http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/tstories/lock))

Most mates in aviation industry, when we saw that plane in '83 up Cape york
there was a long discussion over it. the conclusion being a commercial plane was gutted
and turned into a cargo aircraft for the war effort, thats how we saw it.

The 4 pics are taken from the same walk/trail in a well known National Park. I want the name of the park AND the name of the 'walk'. I will confirm the name of the Park first when someone gets it.
