Well, here tis - the new front bar - not the best shots as it only just went on and it's dark, but you'll get the idea - I'll take some more tomorrow. Certainly opens up the approach angle, and quite simply put, I love it!! Toughens the front end up a bit as well ...

Scotty, I haven't kept up with this mammoth thread but have a think about making those spotties vandal proof if you haven't done so, I would hate for someone to steal those.

Using cable to the bar work, grinding the bolt threads down, etc

Thanks mate - now they're transferred over, I'll throw a spot weld on the threads ... the center ones have anti-theft bolts, but even so, if they want them, they'll always get them.

$1100 - fitted ... dual recovery mounts, winch compatible ... he put extra spottie mounts on it also with a larger centre hoop to fit all 4 spots in ...

Got the taller centre hoop so I can put some guides on the bottom side of it to wrap the plasma rope around from the winch - figured once it's used, I'll just wrap it around the guides until I get back home to clean it - protects the front edge of the bonnet also. The side hoops are pushed around the back a bit from standard also to give added side protection to the indicators etc .. pretty happy with it all in all ... now for sliders!!!! lmao

Mal is going to have a look at trying to do a full bash plate for the front also which will clean up the look from the front and protect the steering arm etc also.

Haha ... glad it's inspiring you also mate!!! Thanks for the wrap - I love it, and as said, it'll toughen up with a black checkerplate bash plate ...

I'm on the saving path again now also ... the winch is $895 (Tiger 12000 pound with 28 metre plasma rope and hook) and it's just out of my reach ... need some overtime!! lmao
