Hi guys, I have oil leaking from somewhere around my passenger side ball joint.
I have checked some of the older posts & think I have a similar issue as one I saw which was a leaking axle seal.
I've attached a photo but as it is night the pic isn't so good but just thought I'd get an opinion or 2 as to if I'm guessing in the right direction.
Any ideas are appreciated.

Got the pressure blaster ready to go for tommorrow to give it a clean for a proper inspection to ensure there is no leak above but from 1st inspections it looks like your right, time to replace the seals.
I saw there are seal kits available on Ebay which are a bit cheaper than genuine but is this one of them things I should just fork out the extra cash to save future heartache or are seals all about the same in quality?
Thanks for the reply.
Thanks for the input guys, genuine it is. I'm actually looking forward to doing it. I work on meachanical gear all day & look at most of it as a chore but for some reason I'm kinda looking forward to this little project, guess it's cause I've never done it before & it's on my ride not some peice of equipment I don't care much for.
Looking to that pic, I remember the same thing happened to a friend of mine..its the seals. He replaced them with a non genuine seals and have had it replaced again after a month or so. And I suggest you replace them both sides. Good idea to replace the knuckle flange seals/scrapper at the same time if they are worn out too. Usually sold in kits.
Yup I'd say the seals too, had a mate with the same thing except he left it a bit before deciding to fix the issue, you may notice it starting to smell bad when things warm up after a drive, its a rather destinctive smell too!
