NP forum has a new owner

Running very slow, unable to access sometimes, lots of errors, etc.

Got the monster in with the mechanic at the mo', front end was threatennig murder suicide.

Yep. Mentioned the slowness on the computer thread a while ago. Was advised by TPC to use chrome instead of Edge.

I'm using the Brave browser on a M4 Mac Mini and it's been really slow to connect these last few days although this morning the new posts came up very quickly.
I just assumed teething issues if it's being hosted on a different server now.

Constant issues with 'no new threads ' message, take a couple of additional steps to actually get the pages to load. such as double clicks on the new topic and a screen refresh of the circular arrow, not a big deal unless the overall connection is slow. Still happy to log in though, speed not a killer, just a bee sting

Yeap, extremely slow to load and I’ve got fantastic internet connection. Tried three different browsers and it’s the same on all of them.

Looks like we do not even have very active forum moderators any more. Multiple spam posts and posters not being removed for days. This only aids in the demise of this forum. Today: 5 new posts and all of them crap. Does tend to turn one off. But at least I could access the forum today, unlike the last couple of days.

I have found that by trying to access the forum first thing, it takes ages or gets rejected. It seems to load better after trying Faceache or Youtube first. Although that is hit and miss. I really like to help anyone posting with genuine Patrol issues, but that seems to be a rare thing, these days.

I’ve been reporting spammers on a regular (when I can the forum to load) basis, some don’t get deleted at all. Really disappointing, it used to be a great place.
