    long time patrol fan

hey everyone my name is Josh

I own a gold GU ST factory td42ti that has been chopped into a dual cab, she is twin locked and mostly set up for touring but sees some hard wheeling now and again. I bought it with allot of mods done to it already but I do all the maintenance and upgrades on it. Since owning it I have put a roof platform, 35's, 3 inch lift, long arms, adjustable uppers in it and have rebuild the swivels hubs replaced the clutch and some transfer case seals. Right now I'm rebuilding the rear diff H223B with a TJM air locker for the second time, reason for first rebuild was the pinion gear almost snapped in 2 and from the wear on the ring gear i figured the tooth contact was poor so i adjusted the shims and got the gear contact right but I had too much preload on the bearing and so now I'm doing it all again.
I'm currently trying to set pinion height and to do this correctly I'm planning on heading to nissan and buying all the different washers/shims for the pinion so I can assemble it over and over again until i get the diff set up correctly.

Any tips from people who have done this before would be awesome as I'm struggling to find the best/ fastest way to do it
