Hard stop/shut down Normal for the TD42t?

My TD42t is running great. Super smooth and powerful. I have recently done a front to back inspection of the vehicle and it has had motor mounts and tranny mounts replaced as needed.

When I turn it off, it shuts off with a pretty loud and hard clunk. If it were a gasoline engine I would be very concerned. Is this normal for this engine? Is there perhaps a decompression valve not engaging? Still learning this great engine.

    Thanks

Mine shuts down like it was thrown from the 2nd floor of a building, LOL. Not graceful.

Well said, lol. I suspected it was a normal quirk but it hurts every time I hear it. I am used to gas and modern diesels. But there is a raw nature to this engine I love. Like it is pissed off and the only thing it loves is to run.
