I am after some advice I’m sure someone has done this before I have a 1991 Nissan Safari GQ with a TD42 nonturbo engine ,I am trying to put a 1994 Nissan Safari GQ TD42T automatic transmission in but the flex plate will not bolt to the torque converter as the bolt are spaced more further apart. Is there a flex plate of another vehicle that I could possibly use, I have heard of the ZD30 flex plate but would like someone with a bit more knowledge to comment on this.
Thanks a lot everyone any information would be very much appreciated
Look up Magnum flexplates. They do a heavy duty item for the T engine with the bigger PCD.
Edit: Should have written that Magnum can make a standard flexplate for the non-T engine which is what you're after.
Don't use a ZD30 flexplate, they break already with the ZD30 engine.
