2026 Nissan Patrol is this noise normal?
Hi guys i just picked up my new car 2026 Nissan Patrol, took it to the car wash and when I came back home and parked the car I am getting this noise when the car automatically lowers the suspension.
Is this noise normal? it is very loud and the car is brand new:

If it's new, I would be taking it straight back to the dealer and asking about the noise.
Yes I plan to send them the video tomorrow.
Was reading the user manual and the car is on Auto height adjustment so whenever it is in park the car lowers to the lowest setting but the noise is really loud and didn't expect it to be like this.
The user manual does say that a noise may be heard and supposedly it is not a malfunction but I need to double check because it is really noticeable.
Will see what they say.

We dont have the Y63 in Australia yet mate so noone will know the answer. I cant tell in the video if its going up or down? It sounds to be like the built in Air Compressor probably pumping to the tank and or the bags.Originally Posted by Defratos

Yeah I got completely confused, I signed up to this forum thinking Nissanpatrol.au meant UAE and not Australia lol.
The car is going down in the video, and took it to the dealer today and they said it's normal and supposedly the sound will get quieter within a month or two or else they will fix it under warranty

Congrats on the new Patrol! That noise doesn’t sound normal to me, especially on a brand-new car. My guess is the suspension system or compressor struggling. I’d take it back to the dealer just to be sure. They should check it under warranty, better to catch it early.
