Seats for Nissan Patrol GU Ute 2000 model

Hey I am wanting to replace the seats in my GU patrol Ute has anyone had any experience with this. Trying not to sell a kidney to do so ! I have come across SAAS seats SB1001. I'm wondering if anyone knows if they are good? comfortable ? Would love to hear recommendations for replacing my existing ones making sure I follow ADR compliance.
    Thanks in advance

First stop would be a call to your Roads Regulator to understand what processes you need to follow changing the seats. This may require different seat mounts as well to suit, hence you now have two potential inspection points. I know if you put a seats upgrade thru in Vic, the VASS engineers will want to go over the entire vehicle.

Also, you could check with the seat distributor as to the legality as they will be all over this. A common upgrade is using the Hurrican seat base and either the Ford or Commodore seats from late models. I ran Recaro in my GQ on a Bostrum suspension base, but didn't like the position, so went back to the GQ seat on the base, and it needed to be engineered - PIA. I did have a pair of SAAS that came out of a donor, however sold them without fitting. They seemed a well made seat, fabric quality was good, cany tell you the model though. What I didn't like about them was the lack of a structural mount in the seat base to mount the seat rails - it was straight into a wooden base board, and I would struggle to get that over the line with a VASS inspector I think.
