Thanks for that Mark, does the straight upright bracket attach to the standard tank bracket?

Hi mark,
How did you go with fitting your tank? I've dummy fitted mine and am just wondering if you could help me out with the back left rear straight bracket on where does it attach to?

Gimmie a bit bud. I wanna photo chop the pics so they are easier to understand....
But the original steel bracket that holds the rear of the old tank needs to come out. As I used this bolt hole as a mounting point for the bracket I made up. But it looks like you have removed it anyway.... That arm on your LR tank is straight. Mine was bent outwards...
Heres the pic of the bracket I bought and slightly modified to use....
Heres the tank sender, cut and extended so its about 10mm off the bottom of the tank, exactly how it was in the original tank....

While I'm here. Anyone know what this does? It was in the centre of the original aux tank. In the centre tray, I suppose you'd call it, where the pickup tube sits. The was nothing attached to this thing, just clipped onto the edge of this tray. I'm thinking I may slow the wave effect somehow of the fuel where the pickup tube is maybe.

Thanks Mark. Funny enough I have 2 of those angle brackets sitting on my shelve in the shed and was looking at them this afternoon thinking they would work. Thanks again for your help 👍

Too easy mate. I sat there for ages on Saturday arvo thinking how I could do it. BA came over and had a look, then left. I cracked another stubbie, asked on here, had a scotch, then the light bulb came on. It seems for me that I need to post up here about it, then I figure it out. Happened a few times for me. Lol
The top mounting bolt uses a 17mm spanner on it. the lower side mount I used a larger bolt (with a 19mm hex), mainly because the sheer factor of the larger bolt would be better as the tank would be pulling down.... If you get my drift..

Bit late to the party, you guys just use the one rear bracket to mount or is the second one meant to go somewhere also?
