Hi All,
I just joined this forum as a new Y62 owner with the VK56DE engine. I’m based in the GCC and have been into off-roading for a while. My other rides are a Land Cruiser and a Hilux, both diesel and heavily modified.

This is my first Patrol build, and so far, I’ve installed headers, an exhaust, a high-flow intake, and a tune. The goal is to set it up for dune bashing. Since I’m new to Nissan and Patrol engines, I’ll definitely need some guidance from you all. Looking forward to learning and sharing experiences!!

Welcome mate! I love watching YouTube videos of GCC offroaders on dunes. To be honest I don't think I've seen one with a Y62 yet. They are most of Y61 Super Safaris.

Thank you. There are alot of y62s as well specially in UAE, but y61 is the king mainly due to lower weight and availability of manual transmission. Y62 is more of luxury safari type dune bashing.
