    New Nissan GQ Patrol TD42 owner introduction

    Hi all, John here from Adelaide, would like to say hello and thanks for allowing me to join the forum.

    Recently bought a 94 Nissan GQ Patrol 4.2 wagon (Nov 24) grandpa spec. Same owner for 25 years!
    The silver top hade been converted to turbo, running at max of 12 psi came with Redarc EGT and boost gauge.
    420,000 on clock with no blowby.

    The plan is to use for touring, recent upgrades as follows

    UFI fan and viscous hub
    All new belts x 3
    Installed a PDI intercooler
    Install Genuine Nissan sway bushes front and rear
    Installed XR seats installed passenger and drivers side
    Installed Gearbox mounts replaced with genuine Nissan mounts - had some clucking on acceleration and deceleration
    Installed Renogy lithium batteries 2 x 100 amp wired in parallel with Renolgy DC to DC (50amp) charger fitted behind rear seats
    Removed 110 amp deep cell dual battery from engine bay
    Installed XRS outback pack -330 with 6.6 Dbi aerial along with GME AM/FM antenna
    Hardcore (large) power box fitted in the rear.
    Kings double drawer fitted in rear
    Installed Atota stereo with kicker speakers on both front and rear doors along with a Pioneer amp.
    Sound deadening applied to all doors.
    Upgraded to Bushdoof angry eye led lights
    Installed trims over each door window.including bonnet protector.

    Almost ready for the road early 2025.
