Losing a C-clip inside the car, looking for it for some 30 minutes because I definitely don't have any other, and later that day doing some other work, finding THE SAME SIZE C-clip in the jar of assorted bolts and nuts! That made me VERY happy!

Glad I didn't get bitten. Mowing a paddock, on a ride on mower, and found the remains of of a fairly long eastern brown snake. The thing is, about 70 cm of the head and body was intact when I found it on the next pass. Gotta get a bigger machine so I'm out of reach!!

Well it only took about 4 months, but my son finally got around to changing my windscreen after the Simpson trip. Second one in 2 years..

I'm actually terrfied, if I ever have to get it replaced on my GU.
I can just picture the rust underneath and they tell me they cannot refit a new one ...

Yeah, mines got a little. I wire brushed it with a drill and my son had some sort of agent that he put on.

I know I have rust under mine as I get a little water in down the inside of the screen when it rains.
I need to remove the screen first, fix the rust and then get a new screen in. Maybe after Christmas I’ll look at doing it.
