Beautiful framing on that picture! Nice Patrol with a gorgeous background! Just made it my computer wallpaper!
Good that your boy shares the wheel with you over these long drives! LOL. Always remember that little hand going to the keys when you park... Leave it in neutral.

Sun has come out today which is very welcome, will be lovely tomorrow then rain coming in a few days thinking might have to do a mild dash up the Oodnadatta and hopefully it doesn't close on us anywhere. .

Unless your coming back down to the Flinders with us after the crossing, make sure you detour into Farina. It's a great spot and a brillant ghost town that's being restored. And make sure you get something from the underground bakery!!
Also there ANZAC memorial is next level at sunrise!!

Ah thanks mate, yep lucky Patrols have a good handbrake, wouldn't be leaving any cruiser in neutral lol. . .

Made it to William Creek after staying a couple of nights at Leigh Creek. Finally feeling a bit better yesterday but gone backwards again with this bloody lergy coming back today damitt. . Staying in a cabin again and will head out to Coober Pedy tomorrow as if we leave it any longer might be isolated here with roads closed. . Few mls forecast tomorrow see how we go. . .

Stopped at Farina for a bakery treat, apart from that pretty much hightailed up here.

We finally just made it to Port Augusta.

My water pump died a couple of hours ago and thank god MB had one spare.

Off to buy another one first thing in the morning and then to Coober Pedy.

Travellers may be in for some fun in the desert with yet more rain forecast this weekend - at least at the Qld end.

Plan was to go into Dalhausie Springs then across the Simmo but highly doubt we will cross the Simpson and may have to wait and see to get into Dalhausie as about 10ml predicted tomorrow which will close roads damitt. . Anyhow wait and see we were going to head straight into Dalhausie today but due to weather will head out to Coober very soon. . . See you guys later today fellas
