    2013 Y61 ST-L Plus dual battery wiring

    Hi,
My Patrol seems to have a factory/dealer fitted dual battery system (Redarc 100A voltage sensing relay, tray and battery). From there, there are 2 wires connected to the aux battery side of the VSR but the tags have gone. I traced one to the cigarette socket on the left side panel in the boot area but I can't figure out what the other one is connected to. Anybody would know? I have drastically modified the setup and am wondering if I can just disconnect these wires. I guess I could and see what stop working if anything but I thought I ask first. Thanks!

i would 100% disconnect and or trace. Noone will know the answer, it could be anything. But the World of 12v has evolved and anything that was done pre 2010 is probably questionable these days. I would disconnect, pull out and start from scratch, its only 1 wire. Run a high current capacity to the back and install a fuse board in the back and do your own thing. Goodluck.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
