The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Yep mine is done however a good tip is don’t cook the peas n corn then try to cryovac, just cryovac the frozen ones and heat up when you are ready to use.

Thanks mate, I’m pretty new to cryovac.

Ok to cryovac pasta sauces with the pasta or spaghetti to reheat or better cooking separately at camp?

Haven't tried with cooked pasta inside the bag, I cook the pasta seperately then chuck the bag in with the pasta for the last couple of minutes.

I'm new to all this too, but I'm going to freeze just the sauce and while the pasta cooks I'll heat up the sauce. Just got to remember to get the sauce out of the freezer the day before..

Yeah nah don’t reheat cooked and frozen pasta mate. Cook that at camp if you can carry the water required.

I froze my pasta so I’ll see how it goes, rice I’m just getting the cooked packet rice you reheat, I’ve got spaghetti bog and chilli con carn, rissoles, sausages, chicken kofta and stew cryovaced and packets of Deb instant mashed potatoes and frozen veg, I can reheat everything in hot water and then do the Deb mashed potatoes with the hot water and also use the rest of the water to wash the forks and burn the paper plates, if the pasta is no good then I’ll just Chuck it out 🤷*♂️
