Slow refresh of my 92 Safari.

For those that have 24v systems. where are you hooking up your stereo for constat/battery power. The previous one was hooked to the ignition. But after about a minute there was a loud pop and some smoke. On another note check out the janky speakers that were in it. PXL_20221209_030744622.jpg

Wow that looks like a comms speaker only. What's the history of your Safari? Japanese Authority or Government use?

@MudRunnerTD for 24V question. He converted his Y60 from 12 to 24V but not sure if he runs a stereo.
