Recently purchased a pair of 2Nd hand clearview mirrors for the GU. They have side indicators built in.
Clearview tell me you can wire them into the side indicators. Anyone know how or best way to do this? Searched high and low but can’t find anything that tells me step-by-step. Cheers
It'd be easy. Just run the trigger wire down the door, through to the body, and straight to the indicator on the guard. I'm curious to know what these mirrors came off. As the GU mirrors from Clearview don't have the indicators.
I added the pins to the big plugs behind the kick panels when I fitted my Chevy Silverado towing mirrors to the GU. RH side was a bitch to do.
I know that others have just drilled through the plug to pass the wires. You can't get the wires through from the door to the body in a tidy manner if you don't pass them through the plugs.
