    Far from a mechanic me Nowlzy Mate, but from this little iphony screen looks like you are correct, simple axle oil seal gone.
    Not a huge fix, wheels/brake/stub axles off & out. Slide each axle/cv joint out and pop in a new OEM seal.

    FWIW: A nearby mountain work mechanic recently suggested to me that overfilling to plug height front (not constant 4wd) diffs can put excessive pressure on our axle seals.
    In saying that you mention Fraser Island which I’m assuming is still these days 80km legal high speed front 4wd diff spinning heat too?
