CC is a good investment. I run a Provent 200, few dollars but one of the proven designs. Try Western Filters.
Now that you have installed the new TIG welded cooler, guess you would have cleaned the air intake pipe to turbo and boost hoses, at least the one from turbo to the new cooler "hot side" _ by pulling some rag through??
