    mate told me to get k&n filter
    any1 run k&n filter? would i need 2 , a round and an oval?

    I only ever use genuine Nissan filters (air, oil ect) Have a mate at local dealership so get them for a very good price

    k&n have a lifetime warranty and he reakons he got a small power increase in his 60 series

    I would swear by oiled foam filters in motorbikes but have no experience in 4x4s. Surely if looked after and regularly cleaned and oiled they would outperform the paper ones???? I know that on dirt bikes they are brilliant and they have intakes down real low!

    Fair enough, to be fair I would clean the foam filter on the bike after every outing and because you dont use it all the time it was not such a chore but after reading that post I agree a foam filter would be a pain in the a***
