Finally got from the mine to townsville, huge day, thought I should check Virgin bookings tomorrow, then found all flights cancelled. Been on hold for 2 hrs just trying to speak to Kevin in Bombay. God, this is an interesting ride. Hope I get a flight outta here tomorrow.

Virgin have hit the the transfer limit on their account into the Caymans... if they fly tomorrow it means they will have to start paying Tax in Australia which they have managed to avoid up until now.

Either that or they have kicked the Koala outa the cot and won't fly till we give em 1.4 billion to fund their Exec bonuses this year

Oh, almost forgot Kevin says "namaste" and wants to know if they open a Call Centre in Oz can he get a 457

Thanks ET, always good to get the good oil on what is going on!!! Got onto Kevin finally at midnight, only because I was on the priority hotline for Platinum members - heaven help the casual traveller. Anyway, my booking was completely scrambled, legs missing, and half of the original booking and half changed by virgin, so the robot spat it out it seems. All sorted now, so home by midnight tonight I hope

Until the last few years we used to be all spread out logging all over the place - now thanks to the greens & their injunctions locking up bush everywhere they’ve very cleverly left small areas alone so where do you rekn we’re working now ? All in the same areas - snobs creek at Rubicon & up at Matlock - so now everyone is virtually logging next door to each other there’s vast areas in 1 spot being hit hard which isn’t a good look & is playing right into their hands - their aerial pics from drones show it & it looks ordinary- & make no mistake we don’t like it either . Their mis information & manipulation of what people see makes me angry . VERY

Reminds of an expensive experience our GM (Ex-Gunnersens) once told from years gone by.
A certain few Victorian coupes were apparently/completely LeadBeater’s Possum devastated and required corporate intervention to continue.
1 to 2 million dollars was invested if I recall correctly via State-Zoo breeding programs for new littlens/biggens to be released into the wild.
Unfortunately and sadly almost every single breeding program LBP ended up dead :-(
Turns out apparently that the LBP naturally is one of the most illusive/aggressive Aussie’s and bashes the living crap out of newcomers invading their territory
