I did the brake test with factory pads, 22 emerg stops 60 - 0 and 22 emerg stops 80 - 0, and they were stinking, and this was before I did the twin caliper upgrade, only difference was the braided lines. The pads I upgraded to, they were from Safebrake - used to be a vendor sponsor - honestly cannot recall, but they were for the TI calipers as well, so the pads had to be changed anyway. They also supplied the braided lines. Only thing I wasn't happy with the braided lines is they are supplied with a spiral wire cage on the outside of the line, and this catches sticks and stones and crap, and one ended up get mangled up. I dont know why they add it, but they are a ss braided hose with teflon inner. The factory pads were the original units from July 1997 - yeah, vehicle is very low klm - just over 100,000klm. for July 1997 build. I would have stayed with the factory pads except the 'guff' suggested these pads were stickier - I wasn't using as a daily driver so pad life wasn't an issue.
