Best used for towing only , mine is a TD 4.2 and I have to be over 60 or it labours the motor so no good for off road steep technical stuff .
Leave overdrive off when using the torque lock but if you've got a tailwind and you're in the NT in the right place I've had mine at 120k 2100rpm , wouldn't recommend doing that though was just a tester .
Normally travel between 80 - 100 on bitchy .
I do use the lock in low 4wd in soft sand .
