If a tyre shop is using rope plugs it is illegal. The only way to properly repair a puncture is to remove the tyre from rim and fit a mushroom plug from the inside after inspecting for other damage.Originally Posted by mudski

Never knew about that. My last repair I watched the guy do it at the shop in front of me. I thought nothing of it. Still plugged and working. Anyway, it was good practice since I have never done it before.
Poms didn't win the World cup. Although it was a boring game, mostly penalties, the Kappas came good at the end with some good ball play and scored some decent tries.
