Stainless steel cable tie Tool

Anyone using a proper tool for stainless cable ties?

I tried to do some with just a set of pliers and it was darn difficult. Also I couldn't cut the end of very close and the bit left sticking out of the tie is extremely sharp. I've looked on eBay for a tool and there's toms around $45-50 and then some around $100.

I'm just wondering if anyone uses the $45 ones? Are they any good? Can anyone recommend something or some way of tightening and cutting these things without the proper tool???
