4500 blown head gasket

Ok, so when they did get some love do you know if there was any ill effects from the addative? Such as residue through the cooling system?

We're talking 10 plus years ago now but all i remember doing is tearing the head off, cleaning the face of the block and putting a reco head back on.

I don't recall having to do anything special to clean everything out and the block stayed together/on the machine.

Chuck a tub in and see how it goes i reckon.
