I have just got a GU8 patrol, Build date Feb 2012
On the plate it has TESY61 and engine ZD30 (DDTi) , is this the direct injection type .
When I search for the fuel filter it shows the spin on type but in fact it has the one with four pipes to it.

It should be a Common Rail assuming your in Australia? does it have a Common Rail sticker on the drivers door.

Yes im in WA ,
it says common rail on the door,
was 2012 the change over year.
Late 2006 was the change over from Direct injection to Common fail.

Different motor so different set up,
would suggest you buy a Scan Gauge
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Also it seems to drink the fuel, blows no smoke
It has a Nissan snorkel, Nissan bulbar, xtreme sport by ARB spot lights, huge roof rack which I took off.
