Where to start???I see so many mentions online about boost gauges, needle and Dawes v
Just bought a 2014 Nissan Patrol Ute, DX ex-telstra job, 120,000km.
I see so many mentions online about boost gauges, needle and Dawes valves, ERG block offs, catch cans etc. I have noticed that my new purchase is considerably sluggish going up hill. I have just cleaned the MAF sensor as it was filthy. I haven't checked yet to see if that solves my up hill power issues. If it doesn't what is the next thing i should look at doing?
a) to get a bit more response form the 3.0l going up hill
b) protect the engine for longevity.
I feel a catch can first to help protect the engine?
Do these newer models still benefit from the ERG block off?
Or should i add a needle and Dawes valve to get better performance? or add a better inter cooler?
I can do the work myself, just prefer to start with the best option before i start decking out the canopy.
I don't drive hard, but the power going up hill no weight on board is hopeless.
