Possible nats issue?

Gday all,now I know there is alot of info about this, but there are alot of different answers , so here goes.I've got a 2004 4.2tdi that's possibly got a NATS issue?
Drove fine this morning, stopped for lunch,tried to start an hour or so later, and it will wind over, but wont start?? The red light on top of dash flashes until I turn ignition to on, then it stays on solid. I've tried the spare key with no luck, any suggestions would be appreciated, cheers.
