Agreed. The 60 is a classic and hard to find. Patrol utes are a dime a dozen so if the need ever arises can be replaced easy. Not the case for the 60 though.Originally Posted by the evil twin

Exactly plassy Katrol answers all the GU questions. I know which one I’d prefer, I have a soft spot for the 60 and I do love the v8s. And at $75 a year for reg, it’s a winner for me. Now to convince the old boy.

Yeah just got my $761.50 GU annual rego notice. That's 10 years for the G60! If it's not a daily then I'll change my original response and go for the classic!

Wouldn't matter if the G60 was a daily, why would you have a GU wagon and a GU ute? If you needed to carry shit, then why wouldn't you just have a trailer? Cheaper to rego, cheaper to imsure and so much cheaper to maintain etc etc etc. At least it's all metal (other than the tyres)
