Jack walked into a sports bar around 9:58 pm.
He sat down next to a good looking blonde at the bar and stared up at the t.v. just as the 10 o'clock news came on.
The news crew was covering a story of a man on the ledge of a tall building, preparing to jump.
The blonde looks at Jack and asks 'do you think he will jump?'
Jack says 'I bet he does'
The blonde replies 'I don't think he will'
Jack puts $20 on the bar and says 'you're on'
Just as the blonde puts her money on the bar the man jumps.
The blonde is upset but says 'fairs fair, here's your money' and hands the cash to Jack.
Jack replied 'I can't take your money. I saw the news at 6pm and knew he would jump'
The blonde replied, "I saw it too, but I really didn't think he would do it again'
Jack took the money.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?
