For three incl airfares not being budget conscious at all around 15k. And Samui is “expensive”.That’s staying on absolute beachfront resort accommodation @ around $125 per night just back from the beach you can get good accommodation for $30 p/n in a hotel with swimming pool. (All breakfast included and daily housekeeping) Apartment by the month with a/c even cheaper. I could easily do it there solo for 5k and have just as much if not more fun. In saying that I know people who stay 5star in Samui who pay $600 p/n. Phuk that! Scooter hire for a 150cc is $12 per day or if you hire one for a month and shop around/haggle can get for $6-$8 per day. Can hire a Suzuki Sierra for $20 per day with a/c or corolla for $40. We only get a car once or twice to take the inlaws around which is stressful driving. A scooter is a lot more relaxed. Thai food in our hotel about $8 but get out off the main drag and you (I) eat the same for $2-$4 . Big serve soft shell crab with a beer and entree was $6 or $8 can’t remember now.Originally Posted by Plasnart

Oooh booze forgot to mention. Hotel/Thai restaurant price for beer is $2-$3 for a stubby. Fancy joint $4 shop at 7-11 $1. Cocktail bars $4 for cocktails. Long Island iced tea has 5 shots and they ask if you want normal or strong best value for money. If I spent $40 a night on booze guaranteed to wake up still pissy with the mother of hangovers to hit by lunch hahahaha
