Thanks again blokes for the support on this. I really hope they make a difference. From go to whoa, we were really only thinking about ourselves and what we were sick of putting up with. No doubt these things aren't perfect - life is a compromise with everything, but hopefully there is quality in this, and it lasts as long as we all expect shit to last.

I would really like to see some pics of the boxes being used too. No bloody snakes in it though Cuppa!

I'll try but there could be a lot more around by the time it finds it's way around the continent. Was sent on 31st Oct, Northline's Tracking currently still shows 'Picked Up', but not yet 'In Transit'.

Freighter probably dropped them off on the way past (thats my story and I'm sticking to it)... ours are still tracking as "in transit"

Mine just arrived. Pays to know the transport operator. "In transit" tracking is done by phone.

Me " When are you bringing those feckin boxes Pete?"

Transport mate "Ahh, fer fecks sake they only just turned up in the depot!"

Me "So tomorrow then mate?"

Transport mate " Unintelligble gurgling, sounds of apoplectic fit"

Me "You're a champ mate, Ta!"

Transport?? Easy peasy!

These are the notches we've built in. Work with a turn buckle or you can feed rope right through (in one side and out the other). They are re-inforced as well.

Might be possible to make quick release brackets that use these notches.

As for the rest, yes, we are on the same page.

Yeah, the proper desert tan colour. It is a popular request. Australian Expedition Vehicles in Townsville have also asked for this specific colour to drop in their 6WD Military vehicles. We are likely going to experiment a bit to get it just right. Check this thing out - just a part of what they do.
