The last thing i tried was a cheap vacuum guage on the assist line and it was reading -30psi
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

You can't get -30 psi of suction, atmospheric pressure is only around 15psi absolute, -30 in,Hg maybe. You physically can not get too much vacuum.
