It would be a good idea to find a flex ramp or a fork lift to flex it up and look for and contact. Ideally a hoist and remove the the springs and cycle the suspensions full range of motion and be able to watch it. To me it lt looks like the shock is contacting in 2 different places. The stone guard and right at the base. 2 different points of contact at 2 different points in the suspension travel. (How I see it anyway)
