They sell disposable plastic bag ice cube trays now , just fill them up which is a bit like filling up a hot water bottle but no screw in stopper , throw them in the freezer doesn't matter which way up down etc .

Hahaha expensive ice tray 😝 I feel your pain as I got read the riot act for not bringing that Tupperware container that had slice in it home . These woman lurve their containers ....
