    No no, removal is not really that hard once you know what to do.
    1. Undo all associated bolts including tail shaft.
    2. Unbolt and remove the shift cover from the top of the box. No chance with it on. If I recall I drilled 2 holes to make the job easier and put plugs in them.
    3. Remove cross member.
    4. Loosen engine mounts so it can tilt.
    5. Motor needs to stay in place. Just tilt it. If it is against the fire wall you wont be able separate the bell housing from the motor.
    6. Front end needs to be up as there is not enough room under the vehicle for the box to drop out. I use a fork lift.
    7. Slide and turn the box as you go.....swear a lot. that b^&tch is heavy.
    8. Make sure you do not try and catch it...I tried and hurt myself. So I suggest a box jack or a load of soft wood under it incase it falls.
