Its all good mate. Always up for a learning experience, I will just have to figure out a better way of attaching the magnets to the tail shaft. Better than the double sided tape that came in the kit

Not 100% sure but on the RR years ago I think my mate used
some sparky tape on the outside then some aircraft lock wire.
It never moved from what I know
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
Now that you say that TD there is a small coil of wire that come in the kit and little tabs on the magnets that would fit the wire perfectly! Cant belive I didnt realize thats what it was for!
Doh! (Smacks self on the forehead)

I think the AP300 might be speed sensor compatible? Can anyone confirm that? It is a dearer setup though.

Woo hoo, road test complete with magnet on drive shaft. All working perfectly. Sits on its speed like a dream, didnt take it past 104 but im sure it will go faster, thats about as fast as I'm gunna cruise at anyway. Thanks to everyone who offered help and advice and I hope this thread will help someone else in the future. NT here we come!

I am installing a Command AP60B, and with one magnet on and the loop wire cut, it would only work above 80kph. I spoke to command and they said I could use the built in speed sensor cable instead of magnets (or add an extra magnet). Not sure how that gels with Dannyboyz' experience with the pulses being too fast and command saying go to magnets!!
