I looked at something similar a few years back but ended up buying a bigger upright unit. If the size is right & the seals are good I don't see any problem. Evakool is a reliable brand.

Issues to consider - Flexibility. This is not a unit intended to be taken in & out of the vehicle at camp, if you want to do that one of the chest portables are better. This is better for 'built in'.
    - Whilst it may not need a fridge slide, the weight & size are probably similar to an equivalent sized chest fridge & slide. Cheaper, & possibly a little lighter, but at the cost of
    flexibility
    - easier to add extra insulation to than a chest unit. However 'traditionally' this style of fridge has been made for truck cabs where they are run for many hours of the day/night
with the truck motor running so *may* not be particularly well insulated because power consumption is less important that convenience of use?

Looks good but needs to be built in for sure. You'd really need to give your setup some thought around it but it's static position would really have some advantages too.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

830mm wide it's big but only 590 mm deep means you could pack behind it.

A mate of mine has the Dometic version, I love the idea of it. He still loves it and is glad with his choice.

They also make a conventional fridge with a sliding drawer underneath it:
