Sounds brilliant.
We had a boilly hand notice Monday.
2 weeks.
Hes landed a job in Sydney (where his missus now works) with Shamano doing services on reels etc.
He loves fishing so it's like a dream job for him.
Better pay, much better environment..
And they have 2 company boats which the pros use and he's already been invited out with em lol..
Now that's a job score..
Im bloody jelous lol..

Sure it has its benifits..
But when you have one of each store as the big chains have wiped the rest clean it sucks a lot. .
Work mate is going to be outter limits to the south so housing isn't too bad.
Sure still expensive but a lot more realistic prices..
Im a country bloke, but I did enjoy my time in Melbourne.
Love the public transport.
Mt g has 2 busses..

So I had to take the GUIV down the freeway today to Melbourne. On the way back I'm cruising on cruise control in the middle lane and this guy in a 79series Cruiser Trayback towing a big tandem with a small crate on it came past me on the right.

Next thing he beeped the horn and a looked over and he gave me a huge thumbs up and mouthed "Nice Farking car mate" with a big grin......

I'll take that!!!
