    I had a check of the sds for both maf cleaner and contact cleaner. They both have completely different ingredients. But that's not to say that one does a better job than the other.

    Safety data sheets are readily available to check online btw.
    IMO and should be taken with a grain of salt.

    Actually thinking If these cleaners are any good any way.
    If you think about it, its a hot wire system where a small wire gets red hot.
    You would think any contaminates like oil residue, dust, dirt and anything else that might flow through it would BAKE onto the wire.
    Wouldn't oven cleaner work better???lol

    I'm not sure if these cleaners would actually do a 100% job.

    How about a cotton bud with a bit of this shit and try cleaning it ..carefully of course !

    I reckon this might work better???

    Anyway, what's your thoughts ?

    Oven cleaner and steel wool sounds the go. Or a grinder with a flapper disc.
