The cut off dump pipe is very close the the clutch line and I gave it a fair go from a rolling start in second and it pulls well. Much more lively than before. Boosting from low it's a bit boggy like the other one but I don't have a pyro and don't know what my EGTs were but when I went to pull up I had no clutch!! I think I just cooked the fluid in the line close to the dump though. A couple of pumps and it was back.

Called it a day. I'll limp it into the exhaust shop tomorrow before giving it another push.

I did a U turn and did a standing start. At take off the whole car stands up!!! Not just lifting the front left! All 4 wheels seemed to want to lift!! No shit! Like it was in a crouch then stood on takeoff!

It's no race car but I think this thing is going to be a towing beast!
    Awesome, no leaks or anything?

    Banjo oil feed ok?

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

Turbo Upgrades for the GUIV TD42Ti

So it's been a massive weekend. Phone on 1% but I've plugged in to post this.

Well just inside now. Everything is packed away. The driveway has also had a pressure clean. Got pretty messy so looks great now.

I'd like to thank AB and Nic for a Stella effort yesterday. Could not have got it done without you chaps. Thank you.

A Huge thanks also to NissanNewby! Matt, your a wealth of knowledge coupled with patience show to us plebs. Thanks for your guidance and epic photos to my phone. A huge help mate.

Here is a bit of a photo bomb. Not heaps of pics though gents, we were busy!

I looked for that 12mm socket for a bloody hour!!! Was going to be a long weekend without the 12mm socket damn it!

    The boys were Awesome!!

I used some of the old pipe work.

End of Saturday. 14 hours after 3 hours sleep and 8 hours stripping stuff Friday night !

And today was the finishing touches.

So I bought premixed coolant and there I was at the end of emptying the first 5lts of coolant into the radiator. I noted it was pretty thick. Slowly going in I read the label upside down and it was bloody concentrate! WTF?? Damn it. Off with the bottom hose and got most of it out then mixed it 50-50 and refilled.

Turned the key was awesome. Bled the coolant for about 20mimutes.

    Happy days!!
