I thought I lost all these pics, but here he is .....in the flesh!

    DX grunt’s annex and awning
I reverse my Patrol in, so it sits side by side, and I just clip the press studs onto the bottom of the pod’s tray.
    [/QUOTE]

The top of the ‘structure’ that is permanently mounted to the Patrol and stabilizes the annex.

    The annex’s back door.

We can separate the PVC area (shower/toilet area) from the ‘living room’

Fully set up, the skirting clips into the bottom of the pod, and I use tent pegs to secure it to the ground.

Press studs that clip the bottom skirting on. Not cheap, but well worth the expense.

Ventilation for the shower. It has 2 of these – with the other down the other end

Annex up, left hand pod door, down.

Many of these are old pics before the mods, but I think you all get the idea.

    More to follow.

Inside the ‘living room’. Left hand pod door down, annex down. This configuration means I can ‘drive out, reverse in’. It gets a bit tricky on sand because the press studs don’t always line up. Lol

Living area/bathroom. Got sandfly proof netting. Can’t see in during daylight.

Back of awning looking forward. It was a bit squashy setting up in my front yard. Lol

Lots of tent poles required. Lol

    When I first started out.

    And finally, for a laugh

    Take care out there.

    Too long! lol.

It's been ages since I've set it up, but I have all the poles marked so I know what goes where. Normally a couple of hours. That's why we don't do the full set up unless it's for at least a week.

I've lost some storage space in the dash, but I've gained space for 7 Narva rocker switches.

I'm transferring all 7 switches from the gear stick cowling to the dashboard. It looks much more professional.

The auto leckie is going to do the work on Thursday.

The finished product. I'm so happy.

7 Narva Rocker Switches fitted into the 'old storage compartment' just as the doctor ordered. lol

The only thing if you could call it 'wrong' is that Narva need a bit more flexibility with the naming of their rocker switches.

From left to right is.... Rear left spottie, 2 x left side roof lights, oven, DVD player, sand flag, 2 x right side roof lights, rear right spottie.

I also replaced the plastic/leather around the gearsticks.

$145 later........ That was replaced too. It looks n@ked without all the holes in the plastic. lol - but worth it.

Got 2 x rocker switches for the LED light bars. Just waiting for the shipment to come in from Lights, and I'll have more pics. lol.

I've got the 200w, 40" Aurora, just waiting on the 37", 230w Extreme. Gunna keep both, at the moment, until I do some testing.

    Take care out there.

    Rossco

Edit.....I've sent an email to Narva, requesting more rocker switches with different names/stickers for the blank switches.
