Noise after fitting new Alternator Belt
Comes from the front of the motor sounds like a squeak noise, could it be the new belt rubbing on something? Or is it likely something else? Its a 2004 4.2TDi.
Cheers

Is it a squeak or a squeal and does it stop after a while?

Its not a squeal but more of a squeak but you can hear it when shes idling, haven't check to see if it goes away after a while. I'll take her for a drive this arvo and find out if its stops after a while.

Try squirting a little crc on either the ac bearing or tensioner bearing..
If it's still there spray the other..
If it's still there it's your belt..
