what pressures are you running or going to run

I wouldn't say that they're quite, but not to bad. Haven't checked the pressure yet, it's whatever the tyre place put in. Will check in morning before it goes in for a alignment.

Toolangi and dissa are nice and greasy right now if you're keen to take the shine of the new rubber.

I want to see how these tyres wear so I measured the tread, starting point is 15mm.

Also I measured the overall height and was a bit surprised.

Can anyone explain why this is.
I remember reading somewhere that comp tyres are bigger than what is stamped on, but these are smaller.

I thought of that, but the actual size is 32.8, that's 1/2" difference. They're at 40psi ATM. Would they really change that much?

I honestly have no idea John. It was just a first thing I thought of and a wild brainstorming guess. I mean, physically, if you deflate a tire, give it a larger footprint, then the vertical diameter decreases , edge to edge does it not ?
Even if it is 1/2". Maybe not in your case.

Manufacturers are all over the place with sizes mate. Some measure true, some over and some under. Bfgs seem to always be under both in diameter and width.

Would this maybe have something to do with them being measured from factory in an unmounted state?
Once mounted, inflated and then with weight on them i would imagine the base of the tire to conform to the ground (flat)
Would these factors create the roughly 1/2" missing from the overall height?
